The Waffle House is a family-owned and run business, founded on ethical principles. We aim to maximise our sustainability by:

• Sourcing our ingredients from the best suppliers, supporting local producers as much as possible
• Providing tap water and bottled water from Belu, an ethical, carbon-neutral company that gives 100% of its profits to WaterAid
• Compacting and recycling cardboard boxes and packaging
• Recycling plastic milk and drinks bottles
• Recycling all glass bottles and metal cans
• Using low energy lighting throughout both venues
• Using Ecotricity to supply our electricity and gas — 100% renewable electricity from wind and solar, with gas supplied by a company actively investing in transitioning Britain’s gas grid to sustainable sources
• Using cleaning products with low toxicity and the least possible impact on the environment

We support local fundraising events across both of our venues through our community support programme. If you are planning a charity fundraiser, please get in touch and we will do our best to help with a gift card raffle prize.
